Obama

I guess this is my trademark- cartooninzing a subject then retaining some parts of the original photo. I had a lot in mind when I chose this photo of Barack Obama. 1. He looked so distinguished. 2. The black and white theme. Though, the black and white theme was not really a great help since colors join up together if they're the same tone e.g. black goes with black so when you "paint bucket" that section, everything becomes black which was not my entire intention. I don't really know why I cast a shadow on the left side of Obama's face. It made things all the more difficult having to use the "lasso" tool to create a symmetrical shape to the original photo. This project took me 2 hours to complete.
